Water Restoration New York exists for one moment: the moment water is coming into your home and you need help now. We connect callers across Long Island, Westchester, New York City and the Hudson Valley with independent restoration companies that serve their area, around the clock.
What we do
We answer calls 24 hours a day and connect each caller with a locally operating restoration company that serves their ZIP code. We also publish practical, local guides about water damage, insurance and choosing a contractor in New York.
What we do not do
We are not a contractor. We do not inspect, estimate or perform restoration work, and we do not handle insurance claims. Those are the responsibility of the restoration company you choose, your insurer, and, if you hire one, your licensed public adjuster or attorney.
How we write our guides
Our guides draw on official sources where they exist, including the New York State Department of Labor (mold licensing), the Department of Financial Services (insurance regulation), FEMA and the National Flood Insurance Program, county consumer affairs offices, and the National Weather Service.
